Learning to Play an Instrument is Fun!!

Piano

The piano is one of the most important and popular instruments to learn. Many students start out their music experience with the piano. The age recommended to begin is around 6 years old, however many 5 year olds can begin if they show musical aptitude and a willingness to learn. All lessons are specifically designed for the needs of individual students. Allegro’s piano teachers are highly qualified and have much experience teaching students of all ages.

Guitar

The guitar is a great instrument to learn because you can produce great music with only a few chords. Mastery of the guitar will require individual instruction which is provided through private lessons. Our instructors teach classical, blues, rock, funk, and more. The age to begin guitar can begin around 6 years old. Most of Allegro instructors are professionally educated and/or perform on tours and in bands.

Voice

Allegro Music Lessons has the privilege of having some of the finest vocal instructors on its staff. Most of our instructors have music degrees, with many having multiple degrees, as well as performance experience. You and/or your child will have access to the finest instruction. The voice is a wonderful instrument, and with private instruction you are able to learn breath control, posture, range, projection, and more. Vocal skills are fun because you can learn to accompany yourself on the piano. Some students can begin instruction at age 6, however, most begin in later elementary to adulthood due to vocal development during the early years.

Violin

The violin is a beautiful instrument that is quite popular in schools. Through private training, a student can participate in orchestras and symphonies. Our instructors teach rhythm, counting, correct bowing and posture, and much more. Usually, a minimum age for students to begin lessons is 5. All of our instructors have music degrees and much experience teaching private lessons.

Other Instruments
We have instructors who play more than one instrument, so we can offer lessons in most instruments in all music families: strings, brass, woodwinds. Call to find out if we have an instructor near you for a specific instrument.

Helping families bring music lessons to their children at home in most of Central, Northwest and Northeast Gwinnett. Our primary service areas include Alpharetta, Duluth, Suwanee, Buford, Johns Creek and Norcross. Other areas may include Cummings, Canton, Marietta, Sandy Springs and Smyrna. Some availability may also include certain areas of northeast Gwinnett including Lawrenceville and Snellville. Allegro Music Lessons is expanding and will continue to grow through the efforts of our willing, capable teaching staff.
